  • Third Annual Guardian Angel Gala raises $45,000 for Memorial Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

    Gulfport, Miss.   Memorial Hospital Foundation raised $45,000 with the Third Annual Guardian Angel Gala on Friday, March 24, at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. A portion of the proceeds from the Gala will go toward a Digital Transcutaneous Carbon Dioxide monitor for Memorial Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.     GULFPORT, Miss. — The Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency (MORA) will be on-site at Memorial Hospital Gulfport on Wednesday, April 5, noon – 8 p.m. in the main atrium to register donors and to promote the importance of organ and tissue donation.   • Memorial Hospital to Open Additional Diagnostic Imaging Location

    GULFPORT, Miss. —Memorial Hospital Gulfport will open another diagnostic imaging center on March 1. The new Memorial Diagnostic Imaging Center is located at 4320 B Fifteenth Street, Gulfport, at the corner of 15th Street (Old Pass Road) and 44th Avenue.   • Memorial Hospital Parking Garage Resurfacing Project

    GULFPORT, Miss.—Memorial Hospital Gulfport will be resurfacing the Main Parking Garage 4th floor parking deck beginning Friday, February 17.  This means approximately 125 fewer parking spaces in the parking garage until the project is completed.   • Memorial Hospital and American Heart Association Celebrate Little Hats, Big Hearts

    GULFPORT, Miss. —Volunteers from a local knitting and crocheting club celebrated American Heart Month by donating 50 crocheted red hats for babies born in February at Memorial. The Little Hats, Big Hearts campaign started in February 2014 in Chicago, Illinois, to raise awareness of heart disease and congenital heart defects, the most common type of birth defect in the country.
