Memorial Fusion – Timekeeping

What are my responsibilities regarding Time Entry in Memorial Fusion? 

• Non-exempt employees: Clock in and out for your shifts and submit time each pay period. Time can be entered in the following ways: 
  
  • Computer Workstation (Web Clock)
  • Physical Time Clock
  • (Note: If you don’t have access to a time clock you can use a nearby workstation to access the Web Clock. If you have your own computer, the Web Clock will be your primary clocking method.)
• Exempt employees: Will not submit time. Standard hours will auto-populate, any additions or changes should be submitted via the absence module or through time entry. 
• Managers/Supervisors: Review and approve employees’ time and absence submissions.
  
  • Applicable departments: enter On Call and Call Back Time beginning 4/20
• Please note: You will be paid for the exact time(s) you clock in and out for. There will be no more time clock rounding in Memorial Fusion. 

Time Entry Benefits: 

• Customized Clarity: Employees will only see time reporting codes applicable to their current work assignments. 
• Automated Reminders: Memorial Fusion will send in-system notifications and email reminders when time entry is due. 

Time Clock Locations: 

With Memorial Fusion, employees will be able to enter time via computer workstations and time clocks. As part of our transition to Memorial Fusion, there will be a reduction in the number of physical time clocks across our campuses.

Please note: Memorial Fusion will capture your time entries minute-by-minute instead of rounding to the nearest quarter hour. This will ensure accuracy in your timesheets and payment for time worked.
