Mississippi Paralysis Association Donates to Memorial Hospital Foundation

ThinkFirst is a national injury prevention foundation aimed at educating young people about brain and spinal cord injury prevention. Memorial Neurosciences and Rehabilitation’s chapter of ThinkFirst provides bicycle helmets to school age children in grades K-6 and Safety T-shirts to children in grades 7-12 who attend a ThinkFirst presentation. The program teaches them the importance of vehicle, bicycle, water, playground, recreation, sports, and weapon safety to protect them from brain and spinal cord injuries.
