All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Fair

The Gulf Coast Chapter of ThinkFirst, sponsored by Memorial Neurosciences and Rehabilitation, will hold an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Safety Fair for children and teens, Saturday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m., at Edgewater Mall, 2600 Beach Boulevard, Biloxi.

ATV safety experts will hold mini-educational sessions regarding the prevention of brain and spinal cord injuries.

After attending a safety session, the first 150 attendees will receive:

• A free ATV safety helmet

• Brain Injury Prevention Tip Card

• Educational Materials on Helmet and ATV Safety

ThinkFirst is a National Injury Prevention Foundation, which focuses on educating children on brain and spinal cord injury prevention. Brain and spinal cord injuries are the leading cause of death for ages 1-44 and the highest risk group is individuals aged 15-24. This event is provided by the Gulf Coast Chapter of ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation, sponsored by Memorial Neurosciences & Rehabilitation and the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services.
