Celebrating National Nursing Home Week
National Skilled Nursing Care Center Week, formerly known as National Nursing Home Week, recognizes the role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for America’s seniors and individuals with disabilities. We will be participating in the festivities from May 11-15 with daily parades, snacks and games with all resident and staff members. We will also have themes each day to add to the fun during National Nursing Home Week this year. Here are the themes:
Monday, May 11 – Harry Potter Theme: Quidditch, broom and balloon game
Tuesday, May 12 – Tropical Day: Tropical Pictionary
Wednesday, May 13 – Nerd Day: Spelling Spree
Thursday, May 14 – Sporty Day: Sport Games
Friday, May 15 – Hippie Day: Easy Rider (chair aerobics)
