Memorial Physician Clinics Welcomes Kendrick Johnson, MD

GULFPORT, Miss. – August 10, 2026 – Memorial
Physician Clinics is pleased to welcome Kendrick
Johnson, MD, to the practice of Neurosurgery and
Neurointerventional Radiology at Memorial Physician
Clinics Neurosurgery, located at 1340 Broad Ave., Suite
440 in Gulfport.
Dr. Johnson earned his Doctor of Medicine from the
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in
Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his Neurosurgery
residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine
in Peoria, Illinois, where he also served as Chief Neurosurgical Resident from July 2018 to June 2020 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Dr. Johnson has completed
advanced fellowship training in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He also completed a fellowship in Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Johnson is a board-certified neurosurgeon with more than 13 years of experience. He specializes in the open and minimally invasive treatment of carotid artery disease, brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), stroke, and other cerebrovascular conditions. In addition to his expertise in cerebrovascular neurosurgery, Dr. Johnson provides comprehensive care for patients with brain tumors, trauma, and a wide range of general neurosurgical conditions.
