GULFPORT, Miss. – August 3, 2026 – Memorial Physician Clinics is pleased to welcome John “Jack” Hanson, MD, to the practice of Gastroenterology at Memorial Gastroenterology Center, located at 4500 West Railroad Street, in Gulfport.

Dr. Hanson earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Hanson diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), and biliary system (liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts).
