June Griggs, CTRS, Activity Director

June Griggs has been a Recreational Therapist since 1997. During her career, she has worked in long term care, skilled, Alzheimer’s and psychiatric populations. June has been with Woodland since December 2012. You can find her planning and assisting with cooking, karaoke, skits, creative projects, community outings, and dressing for every special occasion. She says her job feels more like a calling than a profession and she has enjoyed every minute. During her free time, June enjoys spending time with her large family. She and her husband have 8 children together and all except for one is married. They have 20 grandchildren, one on the way and wanting more, and always includes her independent 87 year old mother! She has been a fitness instructor since 1993, teaching cardio with weights for general health and pleasure. Congratulations, June!
