Karen Perkins

Karen Perkins is our Employee of the Month. Karen has been with WVNC since 2015 where she began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, transitioned to rehabilitative nursing assistant, and now she is the Transportation Liaison, She is very diligent in scheduling and transporting residents to community events, a large variety of medical appointments, and does all she can to inform the family and resident of their upcoming appointment. Karen is exceptionally organized and available to help in any way she can. Several residents visit with her for comfort and a listening ear! She began in nursing because she enjoys making others feel better.

Karen enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings. She worships at Valena C. Jones and enjoys shopping. Thank you for keeping everyone informed and on track!
