U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Memorial Hospital at Gulfport as High Performing
GULFPORT, Miss.—Memorial Hospital at Gulfport has been recognized as High Performing in Heart Failure for 2018-19 by U.S. News & World Report. This report is designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or for common elective procedures.
A hospital’s heart failure score is based on multiple data categories, including patient survival, volume, and more. Hospitals received one of three ratings — high performing, average or below average. Hospitals that earned a high performing rating were significantly better than the national average.
