Memorial Physician Clinics Welcomes John Bechtel, MD

GULFPORT, Miss. – April 20, 2026 – Memorial Physician Clinics is pleased to welcome John Bechtel, MD, to the practice of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Bechtel is currently seeing patients at Memorial Radiation Oncology Services, located at 1340 Broad Ave., Suite 140, in Gulfport. He will transition to Memorial Biloxi Radiation Oncology Services Cedar Lake, located at 1732 Medical Park Drive in Biloxi, upon completion of the move.
Dr. Bechtel earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri–Columbia Hospital, Department of Internal Medicine, before going on to complete his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals Department of Radiation Oncology in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Dr. Bechtel is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and is accepting new patients.
