June 1, 2015 GULFPORT, Miss. — Memorial Physician Clinics welcomes Emilio C. Tayag, MD, in the practice of Neurosurgery at 1340 Broad Ave., Suite 440, Gulfport. Dr. Tayag received his medical doctorate, and his rotating internship, from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Quezon City, Philippines. He also completed his General Surgery internship at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester (formerly New Rochelle Hospital Medical Center), New Rochelle, New York; and Internal Medicine internship at University of Southern California (USC) + Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, California. Dr. Tayag completed his residencies in Neurology at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, Los Angeles, California and in Neurological Surgery at Tulane University Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. He is fellowship trained in Neurological Rehabilitation at USC+Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, Downey, California. His basic science research fellowships in Neurotrauma were obtained from the Departments of Neurosurgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, Texas and Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
