FREE Breastfeeding Classes

Breast Pump Rentals
Pumps are available for rent (Symphony™). Medela® Breast Pumps have Autocyle™ action to automatically create suck-release-relax cycles which duplicates, as nearly as possible, a baby’s nursing action.
This pump is suitable for every pumping need, including initiating and sustaining milk supply when breastfeeding is not possible. This hospital grade pump uses a personal collection kit, so the parts that touch the breast are new with each rental. Single or double pumping is possible. Double pumping cuts pumping time in half and increases prolactin levels, the hormone that helps maintain milk supply.
Lactation Consultants
Memorial Breastfeeding Center is staffed by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). We are proud to offer this team of RN/IBCLCs to provide substantial breastfeeding assistance and skilled technical management for your breastfeeding journey.
Consultations are available on an outpatient basis after release from the hospital, which means breastfeeding assistance does not end at discharge.
