Vice President, Clinic Operations
The Vice President of Clinic Operations is responsible for the strategy and direction of Memorial primary and specialty care physician clinics. Develops and implements new business initiatives in support of Memorial core strategies.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Directs, implements and maintains strategic planning for areas of responsibility aligned with the mission, vision and values of the system.
- Oversees and supports the due diligence process of practice acquisitions and divestitures.
- Develops annual operating budget, managing budget throughout the year to mitigate variances via appropriate cost-control programs
- Works collaboratively with the administrative team to manage the fiscal oversight of allocated resources in order to optimize return on investment for service initiatives.
- Provide leadership to department management teams to achieve business goals, quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Practices within legal, ethical and professional boundaries.

Qualification and Education Requirements
- Required education – Bachelor’s Degree – Nursing or other field of study
- Preferred education – Master’s degree – Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or other field of study.
- Required Licensure: Current MS RN license, MS 90-day temporary permit, or Compact state RN license or as indicated by profession.
- Required Experience: Eight (8) years of progressive management experience in an outpatient/physician clinic setting. Strong understanding of hospital finance, physician clinics operation and billing, and practice management.
- Preferred Experience: Ten (10) years of practice management experience in a multi-specialty physician clinic operation.
