Radiation Therapist 

The Radiation Therapist position provides prescribed therapeutic treatments to Radiation Oncology patients.

Required Qualifications:

Education:  Graduate of accredited school of Radiation Therapy.

Licensure:  Current registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists in Radiation Therapy (RTT) or eligible to take Registry for Radiation Therapy (must receive passing score before the end of the probationary period). Current licensure or temporary privileges for same as granted by Mississippi State Department of Health.

Experience:  None.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:  Accurately simulate and deliver radiation treatments per physician’s prescription.

Preferred  Qualifications:
Education:  BS of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy.

Experience:  Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist in a Radiation Oncology Department.
