Duties:

• Responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, seizures, stroke, movement disorders, and peripheral nerve disorders, among others.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as brain and spine imaging, electroencephalograms, and laboratory studies.
• Developing individualized treatment plans, which may include medications, lifestyle modifications, and referrals for rehabilitation or other specialty care.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed.
• Educating patients and their families about neurological conditions, symptom management, and treatment options.

Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Mississippi License to practice medicine
• Completion of Neurology Residency
