Manager, Applications – I/S – Rev Cycle Applications

Job Description

The Manager of Applications oversees the team of analysts involved with or supporting non-clinical applications as well as coordinating and overseeing projects related to Information Systems Applications. The Manager is also responsible for directing and leading the application analyst team to efficiently and effectively support end users with various computer systems.

Required Education:  

• Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other field of study; or equivalent required experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Preferred Education:  

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Project Management or Business Administration

Required Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience (with degree requirement); eight (8) years (with Associate degree); or ten (10) years (with no degree) in an Information Systems role including application experience; with three years’ experience in a leadership role within healthcare applications.

Preferred Experience:

Five (5) years of experience as an IT project manager. Experience supporting Cerner or PeopleSoft application software.
