Clinical Dietician

Summary

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the planning and implementation of nutrition therapy for patients. The Clinical Dietitian completes the evaluation and screening of the nutritional status of patients in accordance with established protocol. The Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition education and counseling for patients, families and other healthcare staff.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher with an existing MS RD License, obtained prior to January of 2024
Licensure: Must have and maintain a current MS Registered Dietitian (RD) license

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree required to be eligible to sit for exam and obtain a license as of January 2024. Registry eligible and successful completion of exam for license within six (6) months of hire.
Experience: One (1) In an acute care/hospital setting
