Memorial Hospital Gulfport Achieves 3-Star Rating from CMS for Hospital Quality
GULFPORT, Miss. – August 11, 2025 – Memorial Hospital Gulfport has earned an Overall Star Rating of 3 from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), a national measure of hospital quality based on key performance metrics. The Overall Star Rating evaluates hospitals across five critical areas: Mortality, Safety of Care, Readmission, Patient Experience, and Timely & Effective Care.
The 3-star rating aligns with the national average, reflecting Memorial’s commitment to delivering quality care to the communities it serves. This rating reflects the dedication of our team members who work tirelessly to enhance patient care. We remain committed to continuous improvement and ensuring our community receives the highest level of healthcare possible.”
The CMS Overall Star Rating supplements the comprehensive hospital data available on Care Compare at Medicare.gov, helping patients make informed healthcare decisions.
