Memorial Hospital and American Heart Association Celebrate Little Hats, Big Hearts
GULFPORT, Miss. —Volunteers from a local knitting and crocheting club celebrated American Heart Month by donating 50 crocheted red hats for babies born in February at Memorial.
The Little Hats, Big Hearts campaign started in February 2014 in Chicago, Illinois, to raise awareness of heart disease and congenital heart defects, the most common type of birth defect in the country.
