Memorial Health System Announces Kristian Spear as Administrator of Memorial Hospital Biloxi
GULFPORT, Miss. – January 8, 2025 – Kristian Spear, Family Nurse Practitioner, has been named Administrator of Memorial Hospital Biloxi, effective February 1, 2025.
With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including 18 years with Memorial Health System, Spear brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her new role. She most recently served as Clinical Director, where she was responsible for overseeing clinical operations at multiple ambulatory sites, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiencies.
Spear has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead impactful initiatives that have enhanced patient care and supported Memorial Health System’s continued success. She played an integral role in introducing clinical trials to the hospital, contributed to the COVID-19 task force, and launched an outpatient monoclonal antibody infusion program during the height of the pandemic. Kristian’s commitment to improving quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction, as well as building strong community partnerships, has been a hallmark of her work.
She holds a Bachelor of Nursing from William Carey University and a Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN) degree from the University of South Alabama. She began her nursing career in cardiac telemetry before transitioning to the Emergency Department, all while completing her Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree. She currently practices as a cardiology NP.
