Memorial Health System Introduces Free Valet Parking Service to Enhance Patient and Visitor Experience

GULFPORT, Miss. – November 18, 2024 – Memorial Health System is now offering a complimentary valet parking service at its main hospital campus in Gulfport. This service is designed to improve access to Memorial’s facilities and alleviate parking challenges on its growing campus.

In partnership with Park, Inc., a national valet service provider with experience working with other healthcare systems, Memorial is introducing this initiative as part of ongoing efforts to provide convenient, efficient, and accessible services.

“Access to care is a top priority for us, and we recognize that parking can often present a challenge for our patients and visitors,” said Kevin Holland, Vice President of Operations at Memorial Health System. “By offering this valet service, we are not only addressing these parking concerns, but we are also improving the overall experience for those who entrust us with their health. We’re pleased to be able to offer this service free of charge, and we hope it helps make visits to Memorial more convenient and stress-free.”

Valet Service Details:

• Available Dates and Times: Valet services will be offered Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Location: Valet drop-off and pick-up will be conveniently located under the hospital’s main entrance awning. A designated lane will be reserved for valet service, while the adjacent lane will remain open for regular patient and visitor traffic.
• Exclusive Parking Lot: The parking lot immediately south of the hospital, adjacent to the South Building, will be designated exclusively for valet parking. Access to this lot will be limited to valet service use only.

To ensure the safety and convenience of all, Memorial Health System has enhanced security presence in the valet and surrounding areas, particularly during shift changes.
