Nuclear Medicine Technologist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist position performs radiographic and/or medical imaging and related procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Job Specifications:

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) program.

Preferred Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiologic Sciences or Allied Health Sciences

Required Licensure: Registered Technologist (or registry eligible) ARRT (N) or CNMT and possess a valid Mississippi Medical Radiation Technologist license.

Preferred Licensure: None

Required Experience: Entry level and above.

Preferred Experience: One year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Able to produce diagnostic information as required.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to use personal computer (word processing and spreadsheet application) if required.
