Memorial Health System Announces Jason Lynn, CPA, as Vice President of Finance and Controller

GULFPORT, Miss. – June 3, 2025 – Memorial Health System is proud to announce the appointment of Jason Lynn, CPA, as Vice President of Finance and Controller. Lynn brings more than 20 years of progressive financial leadership experience across public accounting, for-profit, and not-for-profit healthcare systems.
In his role, Lynn provides strategic oversight of Memorial’s financial operations, including accounting, payroll, accounts payable, decision support, and financial reporting. Since joining Memorial in November 2023, Lynn has worked closely with senior leadership to enhance financial performance and reporting across the organization’s hospitals, clinics, and ambulatory centers. He plays a key role in the preparation of cost reports, audits, and federal and state financial filings, and supports executive decision-making through data-driven financial analysis.
Before joining Memorial, Lynn served as Director of Financial Operations for Mobile Infirmary, a 693-bed hospital in Alabama, where he oversaw financial reporting, budgeting, and executive performance analysis. He was also part of the hospital’s executive leadership team, working directly with operations, clinical leadership, and physicians to drive strategic improvements.
Lynn’s career also includes financial leadership roles with St. Vincent’s Health System and Warren Averett, one of the largest CPA firms in Alabama. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Mercer University, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2026.
Lynn’s extensive experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare environments, paired with his strong leadership and collaborative approach, will help drive Memorial’s financial performance while supporting strategic growth.
