Exceptional Care That Transforms.

June 2025 Daisy Award Honoree – Julie Butler, RN, L&D

“I would like to nominate my nurse for recognition in her role as a L/D nurse. She played a crucial role in supporting my daughter during the birth of her first child and the impact she made on our family will never be forgotten. From the moment we arrived at the hospital, her calm and confident presence helped ease the overwhelming emotions that come with a first-time delivery. She was attentive, compassionate and incredibly skilled. She not only provided exceptional medical care, but also offered emotional reassurance to my daughter, guiding her through each stage of labor with patience and empathy. Most comforting was her ability to anticipate needs before they were spoken, explain every step clearly and respectful and offer unwavering encouragement.

Her kindness extended to our entire family, making us feel welcome and involved while keeping my daughter’s comfort and safety as the top priority. She demonstrated extraordinary professionalism and compassion especially during the particularly challenging moment, the replacement of my daughter’s epidural catheter. She was not only technically skilled, but also incredibly calming and reassuring…helping my daughter remain comfortable and confident throughout the process. What truly stood out was her unwavering commitment. As labor intensified just before her shift was supposed to end, she didn’t miss a beat, rather than handing things off to the next nurse, she stayed at my daughter’s side through the entire delivery. Her continuous presence provided a sense of consistency, comfort and trust that meant the world to us. Her dedication, kindness and steady support turned what could have been stressful experience into one that felt safe, empowering and even beautiful. We will never forget her role in welcoming our newest family member into the world. Thanks to her support, my daughter was able to have a positive and empowering birth experience. We are deeply grateful for her professionalism, compassion and dedication. She exemplified the very best of what a nurse should be, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of recognition.”

Thank you, Julie, for the exceptional care you provide our patients!
