April 2025 Daisy Award Honoree – Ashley Ladner, RN, 4AB

“From my first introduction to my nurse, she was exemplary in all ways. Besides exuding a professional demeanor, she also extended to me and my family compassion that was so kind and comforting especially when I was anxious and in distress. Her disposition and personality drew us to really feel like she was family in all the ways that were important when in a scary time in the hospital, she checked on getting answers to all our questions, attended to all requests promptly and with a smile. To be honest, we are going to miss her, a lot! So many times, “foot soldiers” in healthcare (i.e. the nurses) are overlooked or taken for granted. We will always appreciate and will never take nurses for granted after watching how hard she worked to take care of me.”
Thank you, Ashley, for the exceptional care you provide our patients!
