What is a resident physician?
Memorial began its first resident physician Graduate Medical Education program in 2021, welcoming Family Medicine resident physicians to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. When you visit a Memorial facility, you may interact with a resident physician, or maybe you have questions about what happens during residency and how long these doctors train.

What is a resident?
