Mr. Carlos Bell appointed to Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees

GULFPORT, Miss.—Mr. Carlos Bell was appointed jointly by Harrison County and the City of Gulfport to serve on the Board of Trustees at Memorial Hospital in November 2016 and will serve until July 2021.
Memorial is a multi-specialty medical complex jointly owned by the City of Gulfport and the Gulfport –West Harrison County Hospital District.  The Board of Trustees is composed of seven (7) Trustees, three (3) of which are named by the City of Gulfport; three (3) by the Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi; and one (1) named jointly by Harrison County and the City of Gulfport.
Mr. Bell has been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1998. He is Director of Public Engagement for the Mississippi State Port Authority in Gulfport.  Mr. Bell replaces Mr. Marvin Smith, who has served on Memorial Board of Trustees since 2008.
