Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Hires Vice President

GULFPORT, Miss. — April LaFontaine, has accepted the position of Vice President, Revenue Cycle Services, at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. She has a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Business Administration.  Ms. LaFontaine has earned the distinction of board certification from ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives), which demonstrates her commitment to excellence in serving her community. Ms. LaFontaine has prior experience in healthcare finance and revenue cycle management with other large health systems.  Her role at Memorial Hospital is to optimize the patient financial experience along the entire continuum of care, through all touchpoints and to unify the business and clinical sides of healthcare by managing patient revenue billing processes and ensuring compliance.
