Memorial Physician Clinics Welcomes Occupational Medicine Specialist

February 11, 2015 GULFPORT, Miss. — Memorial Physician Clinics welcomes John T. Pessoney, MD, in the practice of Occupational Medicine at Memorial Occupational Medicine and Health Clinic, 1110 Broad Ave., Suite 500 in Gulfport. Dr. Pessoney received his medical doctorate from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his residency in Occupational Medicine at Uniformed Services University of Health and his internship at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Occupational Medicine and Health focuses on providing medical care to employees with workplace injuries or illness using Worker’s Compensation guidelines where appropriate; medical clearance for employees in accordance with employer needs and governmental requirements; and supports employers in health and safety efforts under OSHA and other governmental programs.
