Memorial Hospital Honors Auxiliary

Memorial honored its Auxiliary with a luncheon and awards ceremony on January 23 at the Hollywood Casino and Hotel in Bay St. Louis. Jennifer Dumal, Vice-President, Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Executive, Cathy Wood, Vice-President, Human Resources, and Linda McCulloch, Volunteer Services Coordinator, presented the awards.
Following the awards presentation, Kathie Short, Member, Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, installed the following Memorial Auxiliary officers for 2013:
Bill Magnusen, President; Peter Psikogios, Vice President; Aurelia Hagin, Recording Secretary; Barbara Martin, Corresponding Secretary; Sandra Rhodes, Treasurer; and June Magnusen, Parliamentarian.
Memorial volunteers lend valuable service in the Gift Shop; Flower Delivery Service; Patient Escort Service; and Pet Therapy Partners. Memorial volunteers also man the information desks in Surgery, the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cancer Resource Center (under the direction of the American Cancer Society), ICU waiting rooms and in the Emergency Department. In 2012, the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary donated over $74,327 towards various Memorial projects.
