Memorial Hospital Foundation Receives Donation from Starlight Children’s Foundation®

February 20, 2014 GULFPORT, Miss. —Starlight Children’s Foundation® recently donated a Starlight Fun Center mobile entertainment unit to the Memorial Hospital Foundation. The mobile entertainment unit rolls to the bedside of pediatric patients to provide distractive entertainment and therapeutic play. The Starlight Fun Center units provide a comforting break and important distraction. Nurses, physicians, Child Life Specialists and parents report back to Starlight that the system greatly improves the experience of hospitalization for their children.
